Description
Hedley House is a house built in 1845, likely designed by Edward Blore. It features pinkish-orange brick with ashlar dressings and a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and two first-floor windows. It has an ashlar plinth and quoins. The entrance is off-centre, consisting of a plank and glazed door set in a quoined surround, topped with a stepped hoodmould. The ground floor has pairs of 8-pane sash windows in quoined surrounds and under hoodmoulds. On the first floor, there are casement windows, including one in a quoined surround. The house has ornamental gables on the left and right, which have ashlar coping and kneelers. The right gable features a full-height decorative stack that projects and is quoined. There are also ridge and side stacks.
