Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century farmhouse with later additions. It is constructed of brown brick with ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The main part of the house is two storeys high and has three windows on the first floor. A two-storey extension was added in the 19th century to the rear right, and a further 19th-century outshut of two storeys is located at the left gable. Three ashlar steps lead to a central recessed door, which has two panels within a panelled doorcase supporting a cornice and a rectangular fanlight above. A 19th-century glazed wooden trellis porch with bargeboards is present. The windows are early 16-pane sashes, set within flat brick arches. A modillion eaves cornice runs along the roofline. Ashlar kneelers and coping are present on the gable end, along with end stacks.
