Description
Flaxley Lodge Farmhouse is a late 18th century or early 19th century building located on Flaxley Road. It is constructed of brown brick, featuring rubbed pink brick voussoirs and painted ashlar keystones. The farmhouse has a pitched slate roof with coped gables resting on cut kneelers. It stands two storeys tall and has a brick modillion eaves cornice. The facade consists of three bays, with the central bay slightly projecting forward and adorned with a pediment that includes an oculus. The windows are sashes with painted keystones. The entrance door has four fielded panels and a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars, surrounded by moulded voussoirs and imposts, and flanked by half-columns supporting the pediment. Additionally, there are two late 19th century semi-circular bay windows on the ground floor.
