Description

Nos 1 and 3 Harrison Place are a former house dating from the late 17th or early 18th century, now divided into two dwellings. The house is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. It is two storeys in height. The ground floor features three double-chamfered stone mullion windows. These windows were originally of 4, 5, and 2 lights respectively, but have been altered to 2, 3, and one light, retaining hoodmoulds. The first floor has three unmoulded single-light windows, which are of a much later date. Two chimneys are present. A former entrance is visible in the right-hand gable wall, consisting of a triangular head within a chamfered surround. A large outshut is located at the rear of the building.
