SCAMPSTON A 64 SE 87 NE SE 890756 (north side) Knapton 4/43 Milestone - II Milestone. Probably early C19. Sandstone, white-painted on front. Round- headed monolith approximately .9 metre high. Lettering virtually illegible, but probably read: S'BOROUGH 15 MALTON 7 Included for historic interest.
