Description

These are a pair of gate piers located at St Edmund's Churchyard, dating from 1698. They are made of magnesian limestone and sandstone ashlar. The piers are square in shape and topped with a cornice, frieze, and ball finials. The right pier is specifically dated 1698. The entire structure stands at approximately 2 meters high.
