Description
This chest tomb, dating from around 1785, is located approximately 6 metres south-west of the south-west corner of the Church of St Andrew. It is made of ashlar sandstone and features an inscription on the lid that commemorates Matthew Edwards, who died in 1785. The end panels are adorned with a sunflower, which is flanked by console pilasters. The side panels also display a sunflower, surrounded by scribed panels and console pilasters. The tomb has sustained some damage since the last survey.
