Description
Esk House and the attached outbuilding are structures from the early 19th century. The house is built of hammered sandstone and features a slate roof, while the outbuilding has a pantile roof and brick stacks. The house is two stories tall with a two-window front, and the outbuilding is 1½ stories with one window on the left side. The front door of the house, which is a 20th-century panelled design, is located to the right of center and is flanked by 16-pane sash windows with painted stone sills. The first floor has similar windows, and all openings are topped with painted, tooled lintels. The gables are coped, and the kneelers are shaped, with stacks at the ends. The outbuilding features a plank door to the left of a 6-pane window, with a similar window above it. All openings in the outbuilding have plain lintels, and it has a coped left gable with a shaped kneeler.
