Description

Garden Cottage is a two-storey building, likely dating from the early 19th century, constructed in rubble with a pantile roof featuring coped gable ends and chimneys at the gable ends. The cottage is notable for its two 18th-century stone archways; one has a keystone and moulded columns, while the other features moulded capitals and a rusticated keystone. Additionally, there are two stone pyramids from 18th-century gate piers. The gable end facing the road includes one hung sash window with glazing bars. The south elevation has a ground floor that is partly brick, with hung sash windows that have glazing bars, along with some modern windows, one of which is blocked.
