Description

The building is a dovecote, located approximately 10 metres north-west of Wrelton Hall. It dates from the mid-18th century and has been converted into a cart-shed, now serving as a store. The structure is made of coursed rubble limestone with quoins and features a pantile roof. It has a square plan and is 1½ storeys high with one bay. The entrance consists of double-board doors beneath a timber lintel, with a square louvred opening above. There is a glover at the apex of the hipped roof. This dovecote is included for its group value with the nearby hall.
