Description

Rose and Crown House is a house that was once a public house, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and has a rendered finish, topped with a cement tile roof and featuring end chimneys. The building stands two storeys tall and has three bays. It has a plinth, a band at the first floor, and an eaves band. The central entrance includes a panelled door with an oblong fanlight and an architrave. The windows are late 19th century sash windows set in flush wood architraves. This building is included mainly for its group value with High Farm House located to the rear.
