Description

Burton Bridge is a bridge located in Burton in Lonsdale, likely built in the 18th century and repaired in 1833. It is constructed of ashlar and features three spans with segmental heads to the arches. The bridge has two round cutwaters with conical caps on both the upstream and downstream sides. There is a string course at the base of the parapet and wing walls, along with coping on the parapet and wings.
