Description

This is a house located to the left of the Crown Inn, dated 1818. It is constructed from coursed squared stone with an ashlar finish and has a graduated stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features two bays. It has quoins at the corners and a central four-panel door set within a plain stone surround that is also quoined. Above the door is a table with a moulded oval and an inscription reading "A . T A 1818". All the windows are unequally hung three-pane sashes, each framed by plain stone surrounds with sills. There is a broken band on the first floor just above the sill level of the upper windows, and an end stack is located to the right.
