Description
This is a granary built in the early to mid-18th century, located to the left of a barn east of Low Hall. It is constructed from rubble and has a 20th-century pantile roof. The granary is two storeys high with three internal bays and features quoins on the left side. There is a blocked doorway on the ground floor to the right and a window under a deep lintel to the left. Central stone and brick steps lead up to a boarded door in the centre of the first floor, which also has a small shuttered opening to the right. The left gable has shaped kneelers and ashlar coping. Inside, the granary has A-framed roof trusses. It is included in the listing for its group value.
