Description
Lambs Cottages is a house that has been converted into two cottages, built around 1820 with early 20th-century restoration and additions to the rear. The building is constructed of red brick with brick dressings and has pantile roofs. It features two brick ridge stacks and a later wall stack on the rear addition. The structure is two storeys high and has a street front with four windows. To the left, there is a doorway with a 19th-century four-panel door and a wooden lattice gabled porch with curved bargeboards. To the right, there are two 2-light sliding sash windows with glazing bars. Beyond this, there is another doorway with a similar porch and an original plank door, followed by two smaller sliding sash windows, also with glazing bars. Above, there are four 2-light sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The rear includes both two-storey and single-storey lean-to additions. Inside, the original staircase and some two-panel doors remain, and the roof structure is intact with 20th-century repairs.
