Description
Scarah Bridge is a bridge built in the late 18th century, constructed of coursed squared gritstone. It features a central segmental arch flanked by lower side arches, all of which have recessed voussoirs. The bridge includes triangular cutwaters and a parapet that projects slightly, made from large blocks with horizontal tooling and rounded coping. It spans the boundary with the parish of Clint, crossing over Thornton Beck.
