Description

CHURCH FENTON CHURCH STREET SE 53 NW (east side) 4/9 Shaft of cross approximately 2 metres to south of south transept 3.2.67 of Saint Mary's Church (formerly listed as the Old Cross) GV II Shaft of cross surmounted by sundial. Medieval shaft with probable C19 dial. Magnesian limestone with bronze dial. Cross shaft approximately 1.5 metres high, an octagonal shaft on octagonal base. Flat sundial. Included for group value.
