Description
This ice house, located approximately five metres east of the weir between the Low and Middle Fish Ponds, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of pink-red brick in English garden wall bond and has a circular plan, being sunk into the ground. The entrance features a tunnel-vaulted design, which is currently blocked off, and it is topped with a conical roof.
