Description
Low Burn Bridge is a bridge built in 1715, although it has earlier origins. It is constructed from ashlar stone and features three segmental arches, each measuring 7 meters, with voussoirs. The bridge has four semicircular cutwaters that rise as pilaster buttresses. There is a band along the structure, and the coped parapet breaks forward, rising above the buttresses. The earlier bridge has 20 different types of masons' marks. Notably, half of the bridge is located in the parish of Swinton with Warthermarske.
