Description

This is an early 17th-century dovecote situated approximately 100 metres to the east of Snape Castle. Constructed of rubblestone with ashlar dressings, it features a roof of graduated stone slates. The dovecote is square in plan and two storeys high, with quoins marking the corners. A double-chamfered two-light mullioned window is located on the first floor. The building has a concave cornice and a pyramidal roof topped with a finial. A board door is set into the left return.
