Description
Eslet House and Fernlea are two houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from hammered grey stone with raised quoins and feature a slate roof. Both houses have a central-entry plan and are two stories tall, each with a three-window front. The doors are four-panelled and include overlights and bracketed hoods. The windows consist of 16-pane sashes, except for those above the doors, which are 12-pane sashes. Ground floor windows have stone sills, while there is a raised sillband for the first floor. The houses have coped gables and shaped kneelers, along with end and centre stacks.
