Description
The Plough Inn is a public house dating from the early 19th century, with later alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of dressed sandstone, topped with a pantile roof and features brick stacks. The building has a central-entry plan and is two stories high with a two-window front. There is a 20th-century door in the original opening, and throughout the building, there are 16-pane sash windows with painted stone sills. The roof has raking dormers that contain large-pane windows, and the gables are coped with shaped kneelers. There are end stacks, and a later range to the right is not of special interest.
