Description
Gooseberry Farmhouse is an 18th-century longhouse-type building. It is constructed of pebble with limestone quoins, and features a brown brick extension to the south, which has a rendered gable end that is white-washed and partly roughcast. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has one bay of Yorkshire casements, while the extension has one bay with sash windows. The north end of the building serves as a stable, which retains its cobbled floor, loose boxes, and mangers. Additionally, there is a two-bay former closet extension to the east, which is single storey and has a pantile roof with boarded doors.
