Description
The Grange is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of Bishopton in Ripon. It is constructed of brown brick and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features a moulded ashlar eaves cornice with a blocking course and coped gables. It has three bays, with the central bay projecting forward and topped by a pediment. The windows are sashes with glazing bars and ashlar voussoirs.
To the east, there is a later semi-circular bay on the ground floor that contains three sash windows. On the west side, there is a two-storey bay, also with sash windows. The entrance door on the east elevation has six moulded panels and a semi-circular fanlight, flanked by two fluted Ionic half-columns that support a modillioned pediment. Additionally, there is a later one-storey extension to the west, which has a three-bay design and a crenellated parapet.
