Description

1 The Bailey is a 18th-century building that was likely originally a coach-house for the adjacent No 1 High Street. It features a wide segmental arch that has been filled with a shallow bay window and an inserted modern doorway, along with two square nine-paned windows above. The walls are roughcast, and the roof is an old slate, hipped on the left side. There is a stone mounting block attached to the wall to the left of the round arched window.
