THE BAILEY (north side) Southern and eastern boundary wall at Skipton Castle

GV II Probably various dates from medieval onwards. Random stone, about 10 ft high, with flat capping. Extends from gatehouse for about 250 metres alongside The Bailey, then turns north-westwards to the cliff edge above the river.
