Description

The former chapel at Skipton Castle is a freestanding, small rectangular stone building located to the west of the castle in the Bailey. It features a large open Decorated window on the east gable end and another on the south side, which has been built up and has 18th-century doorways inserted. There is an old doorway on the north end of the west side. Inside, the chapel contains sedilia. Additionally, another Decorated window is covered by an added shed.
