Description

No. 3 High Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of ashlar and features two storeys. The central doorway has a round head and a Gothick traceried fanlight, which is set beneath an open pediment supported by triple clustered columns with capitals and bases. Flanking the door are two-storey bay windows, with the ground floor lights separated by triple clustered columns that have moulded bases and shallow capitals, supporting a simple cornice. The sills of the ground floor windows extend into a broad string across the front of the building. Above the door, there is a single-light window. The building also has rusticated long and short quoins, a hipped roof, and small modillions at the eaves.
