Description
Nos 1 to 8 Temple Square are a small rectangular range of two-storey cottages built in the late 18th century. The cottages are constructed of rubble and feature four windows on each side of the rectangle. The center cottages have two hung sashes, while the side cottages have small paned casements. The doors are mainly six-panel designs. The roofs are made of stone slate and are hipped. Cottages 4 and 5, which form the center block, have doors that include four-paned fanlights and small hoods. Nos 1 to 8 Temple Square and Nos 5 to 7 Temple Terrace are recognized as a group.
