Description
The Post Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century, with 20th-century restoration. It is constructed of hammer-dressed limestone and has a replacement pantile roof. The entrance has been relocated from the right side of the front facade to the right gable end. The building is two storeys high and features two first-floor windows. On the left side, there is a replacement sash window with glazing bars beneath a timber lintel, while a 20th-century bow window is located on the right. The first floor has replacement sashes with glazing bars under timber lintels. There is a fire insurance plaque on the right side. The end stacks are present, with the left end stack having been rebuilt. A single-storey range to the left is not of special interest. The cottage is included for its group value.
