Description

This is a boundary stone located on Elslack Moor Lane, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is a small squared stone featuring the initials "GLF" in fine seriffed capitals, which stands for George Lane Fox, who was Lord of the Manor from 1821 to 1848, or possibly his son of the same name.
