Description
Nos 25 and 26 Westgate are early 19th-century buildings constructed of brown brick with a modern pantile roof. They rise three storeys and feature two bays with flush-framed sash windows that have channeled stucco voussoirs above them. The central door consists of two fielded panels and one glazed panel, topped by a semi-circular fanlight. The wooden doorcase is designed with unfluted Roman Doric half-columns that support an entablature and an open pediment. There are two shops likely built at the same time, each with simple surrounds. One shop has a door with two fielded panels, while the other has a stable door.
