Description

Nearfield House is a house dating from the late 18th century, with a 19th-century addition. It is constructed of sandstone rubble that is brought to course and has a pantile roof. The building features a central entry, with outshuts on both the left and right sides, and a later outshut under a catslide roof at the rear. The house is two storeys tall and has three bays. It includes a six-panel door and four-pane sash windows beneath cambered brick arches throughout, except for a fixed window located in the left outshut. The gable has coping, shaped kneelers, and end stacks.
