Description

This is a circa 1700 building on North Road, Stokesley, originally divided into two separate properties and later reunited. Constructed of red brick, it features a pantiled roof with stone copings, kneelers, and chimneys situated to the right and off-centre. A stone plinth runs along the base. The building is two storeys high and comprises three bays. Early 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars are set within wooden architraves and stone sills; the first floor windows are adorned with gauged brick flat arches and keystones, with the exception of the east bay which has altered openings. A four-panel door, accompanied by an oblong fanlight within a fluted surround, is located on the left-hand side.
