Description

North Milford Hall is a house dating from the early 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick in English bond, with ashlar dressings and a stone slate roof. The house is square in plan, arranged around a central hallway. It has two storeys and a basement, with three bays, each slightly projecting. A flight of seven steps leads to the central entrance, featuring a half-glazed door with an overlight containing patterned glazing, set within an architrave. The basement level has three blocked windows, each with a cavetto-moulded mullion. The ground and first floors have 12-pane sash windows with moulded ashlar sills, all set under cambered arches. A moulded ashlar band runs along the first floor. The roof is hipped, and there are rear stacks.
