Description

Nos 24, 26, and 28 Millgate are early 19th-century buildings constructed of brown brick with a pantiled roof. They rise three storeys high and feature a brick cornice with modillions at the eaves. The structure has four bays, with the northernmost bay (No 28) being altered and now part of The Golden Lion Public House. The windows include cased flush-framed sashes and cased flush-frame Yorkshire casements with glazing bars on the second floor. There are two doors, one of which is round-arched, but both are currently blocked.
