Description

The garden wall located approximately two metres east of Eskdale Gate Farmhouse is an early 19th-century structure made of hammered sandstone. It stands about 1.5 to 2.0 metres high and features a ramp that rises four times along the slope of the ground. On the garden side, there is an offset buttress, and the wall is topped with flat coping.
