Description

The forecourt walls, railings, and gate of Aldborough Lodge, located to the south, date from the early 19th century. They feature a pale brown brick dwarf wall with sloped stone coping that rises to a height of approximately 1.5 metres, sweeping up at the ends and between the house and a new extension. Above the lower sections, wrought iron railings with bud finials extend upwards, supported by double standards below a half rail. The matching wrought iron gate complements the overall design. This structure is listed for its group value with Aldborough Lodge.
