Description
This is a house dating to circa 1823, likely designed by Francis and George Webster. It is built of tooled ashlar stone with a plinth and an eaves band. A moulded cast-iron gutter sits on dentils, and the roof is covered in graduated slate tiles with stone mid and end chimneys. The house is two storeys high and three bays wide. On the ground floor, two sash windows are set within segment-headed, recessed surrounds to the left of a semicircular carriage arch. The arch has a projecting keystone, moulded imposts, and ramped plank double gates. A panelled door with a semicircular fanlight, set within a panelled doorcase, is located on the left side of the passage. Three sash windows are on the first floor. All the sash windows have glazing bars.
