Description

This is a house, likely built around 1823 and possibly designed by Francis and George Webster. Later additions and alterations have been made. It is constructed from tooled ashlar stone, with a plinth, a band at first-floor sill level, and another at the eaves. The roof is slate-covered and features two dormers, each with a pediment and tripartite glazing, as well as a stone chimney at the north end.

The house is two storeys high with an attic, and originally comprised three bays. A panelled front door, accompanied by a square fanlight, sits within a corniced architrave, with a sash window to the left. A full-width balcony runs across the first floor, supported by wrought-iron brackets and featuring an ornamental pierced cast-iron balustrade. A French window is located to the right, with a sash window to the left, and a semicircular wooden bay window with curved sashes resting on the balcony.
