Description

This is a house, dating from circa 1823, likely designed by Francis and George Webster. It is constructed from hammer-dressed limestone, with a plinth, first-floor sill band, and a second-floor lintel band visible externally. A moulded cast-iron gutter sits on dentils, and the roof is covered in graduated slate, with a stone chimney at the south end. The house is three storeys high and has two bays. The front entrance features part-glazed double doors and a radiating fanlight set within a semicircular-headed surround. Above the entrance is a tripartite sash window with a corniced, pilastered surround. Each of the upper floors has two sash windows, all with glazing bars.
