Description
No 4 Thorny Hills is a house built around 1823 by George Webster. It features incised stucco with panelled pilasters and a sill band on the first floor, along with an eaves band and cornice topped with a blocking course. The roof is made of graduated slate, and there is a stone chimney at the south end, which is shared with No 3. The house has two storeys and a cellar, with three bays. There is a plank cellar door located down steps on the right side. Stone steps lead up to a recessed part-glazed door set in a pedimented doorcase, which has three wreaths on the frieze. On the right side, two tall sash windows open onto a balcony supported by low cross walls, and there are three additional sashes above. All the sash windows are fitted with glazing bars.
