Description
The stables located to the west of Brampton Watermill date from the late 18th century to early 19th century. They are constructed from squared, snecked rubble with quoins and are topped with a graduated slate roof. The building is two storeys high, featuring steps that lead up to a hay-loft at the west end. The front of the stables has two stable doors with segmental heads, and above these are 20th-century casements set in the original stone surrounds. This structure is included for its group value.
