Description

Abbeyfield Lodge is a two-storey building constructed in 1825, featuring ashlar stone and a slate roof. It has one chimney and two shaped gables, along with clasping buttresses that end in spear-shaped finials. The architectural details are similar to those of The Gables, which is located opposite. This lodge was formerly the town lodge of Underley Hall, and its disused drive runs between The Gables and Abbeyfield Lodge.
