Description
Nos 8, 10, and 10A on Highgate are shops built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, with some later alterations. The building is constructed of coursed, squared rubble and features a wooden gutter. It has a graduated slate roof and stone chimneys at the mid and end. The structure has four storeys and four bays. There are two 20th-century shop fronts of different designs, with an entry to the Old Shambles, which was built in 1779, located on the left. Each floor above has four sash windows, with the third floor featuring smaller windows. The rear wing is not of interest.
