Description

Rose Cottage is an 18th-century building located on Chapel Lane. It is two storeys high and constructed of rubble with a concrete tile roof. The cottage features two chimneys and two windows that have plain reveals and are sashed with all glazing bars. The entrance includes a four-panel door, with two raised and fielded panels and two glazed panels.

Inside, the cottage has exposed beams and joists. The front room contains a fitted cupboard framed with fluted pilasters to the right of the fireplace. There is a four-flight closed string dogleg stair with square newels, turned balusters, and a simple handrail.
