Description

The gate piers and attached wing walls at the south entrance to the gardens of Tytup Hall are likely from the late 18th century. They are constructed from ashlar sandstone and rubble limestone. The gate piers feature moulded plinths, square rusticated shafts, cornices, and ball finials, although their pedestals are missing. The short wing walls have ashlar copings and end at tall limestone piers topped with pyramidal caps.
