Description

This is a dovecote located approximately 50 meters west-south-west of Parsonage Farmhouse, dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with quoins and slate through-stones, topped with a graduated greenslate roof. The dovecote has a square plan, featuring a door in the north gable and an opening at a higher level in the south gable. Inside, the walls are limewashed, and it has a three-bay roof with six layers of nesting holes, three in each layer.
