Description
This dovecote, located approximately 12 meters northwest of Manor Farmhouse, dates from the early 18th century and features some minor later additions and alterations. It is constructed from uncoursed limestone rubble and has alternating angle quoins. The roof is made of stone slate, with moulded coped verges and a central pyramidal-capped louvre. The dovecote has a square plan and an entrance through a boarded door located in a later lean-to that is attached to the right gable end. Inside, it retains well-preserved pigeon nesting holes and ledges, along with a double-purlin roof.
