Description
Greystone House, dated 1789, is a house constructed of ashlar stone with rusticated quoins. It features a graduated slate roof with stone copings and block kneelers, along with a corniced stone chimney at one end. The front of the house is symmetrical, with two storeys and three bays, each floor having two sash windows set in stone surrounds. The panelled door has a rusticated surround and a dated panel above it, inscribed with "ADDISON 1789" in an oval frame. Adjoining to the south is a byre made of coursed squared rubble, also with quoins, and topped with a corrugated roof. This outbuilding has two doors and a mounting block at ground level, with access to a hay loft above, all featuring segmental heads.
